Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery and uptime of commercial data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, curation) on Databricks/AWS for USBU/OBU.
- Lead data platform onboarding/change management, issue resolution, and data integration projects (plans, validation, change activities).
- Lead data-platform projects to resolution via resource management, execution, and communication.
- Collaborate with business partners on validation/coordination for internal reporting (e.g., sales forecasting/incentive compensation).
- Maintain data/platform inventory and drive awareness of data use cases.
- Evaluate new data platforms to inform future strategy.
- Ensure vendor SLAs for data quality, timeliness, error reporting, and resolution.
- Set/enforce engineering standards for pipeline design, version control, testing, and CI/CD.
- Rationalize/reuse pipeline logic across USBU/OBU to reduce duplication/TCO.
- Define/maintain roadmap for core commercial data products (data marts, HCP/account 360, patient journey datasets).
- Ensure compliance with privacy/compliance/data governance (e.g., HIPAA) and partner on access controls/retention.
- Partner with vendors on third-party feeds (e.g., IQVIA, Komodo, specialty pharmacy, claims aggregators).
- Align with enterprise data platform/architecture teams.

Qualifications & Skills:
- BS in CS/Data Engineering/Info Systems (MS a plus).
- 10+ years in data engineering/platform roles; 4+ years managing a technical team.
- Production pipeline experience on AWS/Databricks/Spark (or equivalent).
- Pharma/commercial data governance, data management/analytics experience.
- Deep experience with syndicated commercial pharma datasets (claims, retail/non-retail/trade, specialty pharmacy, hub/formulary/co-pay, prescriber-plan, EMR/EHR, diagnostic, shipment/inventory, promotion, speaker programs, email/digital, conferences).
- Strong communication; ability to drive organizational change and strategic solutions.
