Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery and uptime of commercial data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, curation) on Databricks/AWS.
- Lead data platform onboarding/change management, issue resolution, and data integration projects (plans, validation, organizational change).
- Manage resolution of data platform projects through execution, resource management, and communication.
- Collaborate with business partners on validation/coordination for field-based reporting systems (e.g., sales forecasting).
- Maintain inventory of data products and drive awareness of data use cases.
- Evaluate new data platforms and recommend future data strategy.
- Ensure vendor alignment to SLAs (quality, timeliness, error reporting, time to resolve, inquiries).
- Set/enforce engineering standards (pipeline design, version control, testing, CI/CD).
- Rationalize and reuse pipeline logic across USBU and OBU.
- Define and maintain roadmap for commercial data products (sales/claims marts, HCP/account 360, patient journey datasets).
- Ensure compliance with privacy, HIPAA, governance, and data-use policies; partner on access controls/retention/vendor terms.
- Partner with vendors for third-party syndicated feeds and align with enterprise data architecture.

Qualifications/Skills:
- BS in CS/Data Engineering/IS (MS plus).
- 10+ years in data engineering/data platforms; 4+ years managing a technical team.
- Production pipeline experience on AWS; Databricks/Spark (or equivalent).
- Pharma healthcare and commercial data governance/management/analytics experience.
- Deep knowledge of syndicated commercial pharma datasets (e.g., claims, retail/non-retail sales, specialty pharmacy, hub, formulary, co-pay, prescriber-plan, EMR/EHR, diagnostics, shipment, inventory, promotion/digital/patient/HCP portals).
- Strong communication; strategic problem-solving; authority for governance/change decisions.
- Proven cross-functional, global, matrix and fast-paced delivery.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Base salary range (Boston, MA): $177,000–$278,080.
