Role Summary

Data Intake Associate

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Review all patient insurance information needed to complete coverage verification.
  • Manage all incoming fax and mail correspondence.
  • Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Review all patient insurance information needed to complete coverage verification.
  • Work with clinical teams, facilities, and providers to ensure compliance of healthcare information management documentation.

Qualifications

  • Required: High School degree or equivalent.
  • Required: Meets productivity/performance standards as set forth by management.
  • Required: Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with HIPAA regulations.
  • Required: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Required: Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Required: Solid time management skills and organization.
  • Required: Flexibility and ability to handle and manage frequent changes effectively and efficiently.
  • Required: Conditions of Employment: successfully complete the pre-employment process, which includes criminal background check, drug screening, and reference verification.
  • Preferred: Prior experience working with Insurance providers in a payor setting.
  • Preferred: Professionalism, superior organizational and communication skills, drive towards problem resolution.
  • Preferred: Drive for Results with focus on continuous improvement.
  • Preferred: Proficient verbal and written communication; ability to educate and influence across organizational levels.
  • Preferred: Teamwork and collaboration.
