Data Governance & Quality Engineer

Role: Data Governance & Quality Engineer focused on establishing trusted, governed commercial data assets to enhance analytics and AI capabilities within Agilent. Responsibilities: define and maintain metadata, data catalog, and governance standards for critical customer master data; support adoption of modern platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake; profile data quality, develop monitoring KPIs, and drive remediation; partner with business stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to embed governance best practices and promote data literacy. Requirements: Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related; 8+ years in Data Governance, Data Quality, or Business Intelligence; strong SQL and experience with enterprise platforms (Power BI, Snowflake, SAP, CRM); expertise in metadata management, data cataloging, lineage, and data stewardship frameworks; understanding of cloud analytics ecosystems. Preferred: experience with Microsoft Fabric, governed data products, and analytics architectures. High-Value: focus on commercial, customer master data, metadata management, data cataloging, data quality, and enterprise BI tools; occasional travel; remote work option.
