Data Governance & Quality Engineer

Role: Data Governance & Quality Engineer focused on establishing trusted, governed commercial data assets within Agilent's modern data ecosystem. Responsibilities: define and maintain metadata, data catalog, and governance standards for critical customer master data; support adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Snowflake; profile data for quality assessment, develop KPIs, and drive issue remediation; collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to promote data literacy and stewardship. Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Management, or related; 8+ years in data governance, data quality, or analytics; strong SQL skills; experience with Power BI, Snowflake, SAP, CRM, or HANA; familiarity with data catalogs, metadata, lineage, and cloud analytics platforms. Preferred: knowledge of modern analytics architectures and data stewardship frameworks; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
