Dairy Sales Representative (AHV)

Responsibilities:
- Plan, analyze, and execute territory, account, and budget plans to meet performance and sales objectives within the Package Goods Business Unit.
- Implement selling cycles, marketing programs, and initiatives; plan territory-specific sales promotions, customer meetings, and key customer outings/incentives.
- Provide customer-centric solutions by understanding customer needs and delivering value through Elanco products.
- Demonstrate technical fluency by positioning Elanco Cattle products and services using key messages, scientific information, and product expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional account teams (marketing, technical support, Channel, Retail and Vet KAM, customer service) to share customer insights, coordinate marketing campaigns, conduct product demonstrations, and resolve customer concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, or an agricultural-related field, or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience and knowledge of the Dairy industry.
- Previous experience in veterinary and/or nutritional professions/industry.
- Previous sales experience within the dairy industry.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no anticipated visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B or TN).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior dairy-sector sales experience in the territory geography with strong understanding of the customer base.
- Leadership skills to drive sales initiatives.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Passion for animal agriculture, specifically dairy.

Additional Information:
- Location: California; must live in the territory.
- Travel: up to 50%.
