Cytogenetics/FISH Technologist (Wet Lab)

Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist responsible for specimen evaluation, performing routine and complex testing, troubleshooting instrumentation, and ensuring quality control in a clinical lab setting. Responsibilities: acceptability assessment of specimens, execute SOP-driven procedures, prepare/retest reagents, report timely test results, perform preventative maintenance, manage supplies, and assist with specimen processing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; 1+ year lab testing experience or MLS credential; proficiency with lab information systems; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; pass color blindness test. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience, ASCP/AMT certification. High-Value: clinical laboratory environment, molecular or biochemistry testing focus (implied), quality assurance, troubleshooting. Work Setup: onsite in Phoenix, AZ, Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm; flexibility for overtime or shift variations.
