Customer Team Leader (District Sales Manager), Cardiovascular Disease - Rocky Mountains District

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Customer Representatives to deliver strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Coach and guide Customer Representatives to improve skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee training programs and people-related processes for the customer team, ensuring continuous development and optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% (may include occasional overnight stays).
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Proven ability to build a high-performing, motivated sales culture (preferably Cardiovascular therapeutic area).
- Strong leadership using situational coaching and emotional intelligence; growth mindset and agility.
- Communicate clearly and adapt customer engagement models (Cardiovascular market and beyond).
- Customer-focused mindset; relationship building and active listening.
- Account planning/management with cross-functional collaboration.
- Rx Pathways knowledge (providers, EHR, pharmacies, benefit design, prior authorization).
- Coaching experience in Managed Care; partnerships with IDNs and Account Management.
- Track record leading product launch teams in competitive markets.
- Use business analytics/technology to generate insights and execute plans.
Required Skills/Experience:
- BA/BS and at least 5 yearsβ experience in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care within the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Valid driverβs license.
Preferred:
- MBA or MS (Science/Business/Healthcare).
- 3+ years working with key thought leaders/influential customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care.
- Field Sales Management experience (preferably Cardiovascular).
- Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device industries.
