Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Customer Representatives to achieve strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Coach and guide Customer Representatives to improve skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee customer team training and people-related processes to support continuous development and effective resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned to organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% to support team and customer engagement activities (occasional overnight stays).
Qualifications & Attributes
- Proven ability to cultivate a high-performing, motivated sales team culture (preferably Cardiovascular therapeutic area).
- Leadership using situational coaching/emotional intelligence; growth mindset; fosters trust during change.
- Navigate ambiguity; communicate clearly to adapt customer engagement models.
- Customer-focused mindset; listens to understand objectives and build relationships.
- Account planning/management; collaborate cross-functionally.
- Cardiovascular key account/customer relationship experience.
- Solid Rx Pathways knowledge (providers, EHRs, pharmacies, benefit design, prior authorization).
- Coaching experience for Managed Care environments; partner with IDN and Account Management.
- Track record leading product launch teams in competitive markets.
- Use business analytics/technology to generate insights and coach use.
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelorβs degree (BA/BS) + 5+ years in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care within Pharmaceuticals.
- Valid driverβs license.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- MBA/MS; experience with thought leaders/key customers; Field Sales Management.
- Analytical coaching skills; experience in Pharma/Biotech/Medical Devices.
- Builds networks within customer organizations.
