Customer Team Leader (CTL) – Kentucky district (Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green, Richmond, Frankfort)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Customer Representatives to deliver strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Coach and guide Customer Representatives to improve skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee training programs and people-related processes for the customer team, ensuring continuous development and optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% of the time for team and customer engagement activities (may require occasional overnight stays; discussed in interview).

Qualifications & Attributes:
- Proven ability to build a high-performing, motivated sales team culture (preferred Cardiovascular therapeutic area experience).
- Strong leadership using situational coaching and emotional intelligence; growth mindset and ability to foster trust during transitions.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate clearly while adapting customer engagement models in the Cardiovascular market.
- Customer-focused mindset; actively listens to understand objectives and build relationships.
- Expertise in account planning/management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience building relationships with key accounts/customers in the Cardiovascular sector.
- Solid understanding of Rx Pathways (prescription processes, EHR, pharmacies, benefit design, prior authorization).
- Coaching experience in Managed Care environments; partnering with IDNs and Account Management teams.
- Track record leading product launch teams in competitive markets.
- Ability to use business analytics/technology to generate insights and coach sales teams.

Required Skills & Experience:
- BA/BS + minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care within the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
- MBA or MS (Science/Business/Healthcare).
- 3+ years working with key thought leaders/influential customers (large group practices, hospitals, or managed care).
- Prior Field Sales Management; strong leadership/management of Cardiovascular sales teams.
- Analytical mindset; experience coaching use of tools/technology for customer insights.
- Experience selling/leading teams in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Device industries.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships/networks within customer organizations.
