Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Customer Representatives to deliver strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Provide coaching and guidance to improve representative skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee training programs and people-related processes to support continuous development and optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% of the time to support team and customer engagement activities (may include occasional overnight stays).
Qualifications And Attributes
- Proven ability to build a high-performing, motivated sales team culture (preferably Cardiovascular therapeutic area).
- Strong leadership using situational coaching and emotional intelligence; growth mindset and ability to foster trust.
- Navigate ambiguity; communicate clearly and adapt customer engagement models.
- Customer-focused listening; build meaningful relationships across the organization.
- Expertise in account planning/management; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience building relationships with key accounts/customers in Cardiovascular.
- Solid understanding of Rx Pathways (provider prescription processes, EHR, pharmacies, benefit design, prior authorization).
- Coach sales professionals in Managed Care and partner with IDN and Account Management teams.
- Track record leading successful product launch teams in competitive markets.
- Proficient in leveraging business analytics/technology to generate insights and execute plans.
Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelorโs degree (BA/BS) + minimum 5 yearsโ experience in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care within the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Valid driverโs license.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- MBA or MS (Science/Business/Healthcare).
- 3+ years with key thought leaders/influential customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care.
- Field Sales Management experience; preferably Cardiovascular.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to coach use of tools/technology.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device industries.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationship networks.
