Customer Team Leader (CTL) β field-based sales management for the Alabama district (Birmingham, Mobile, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa) and coverage of Pensacola, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Customer Representatives to deliver strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Coach and guide Customer Representatives to improve skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee training programs and people-related processes to ensure continuous development and optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned to organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% (may include occasional overnight stays).
Qualifications and Attributes
- Proven ability to build a high-performing, motivated sales team culture (preferably Cardiovascular).
- Strong leadership through change using situational coaching and emotional intelligence; growth mindset and agility.
- Confidence navigating ambiguity; clear, transparent communication.
- Customer-focused mindset; account planning and cross-functional collaboration.
- Cardiovascular key-account relationship experience.
- Solid understanding of Rx Pathways (provider prescription processes, EHR, pharmacies, benefit design, prior authorization).
- Coaching experience in Managed Care; partnership with IDNs and Account Management.
- Track record leading product launch teams in competitive markets.
- Use business analytics/technology to generate insights and execute strategies.
Required Skills/Experience
- BA/BS with 5+ years in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care (Pharmaceutical industry).
- Valid driverβs license.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- MBA or MS (Science/Business/Healthcare).
- 3+ years with key thought leaders/influential customers (practices, hospitals, managed care).
- Field Sales Management; Cardiovascular sales team leadership.
- Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device industry experience.
