Customer Service - Donor Support Technician

Role: Donor Apheresis Technician responsible for preparing and operating the apheresis equipment, monitoring the donor and process, and ensuring accurate documentation. Objectives include maintaining donor safety, adhering to SOPs, and supporting hyper immune programs if applicable. Responsibilities: prepare donor and equipment, monitor and respond to alarms, disconnect donor post-procedure, record incidents and donor data using PDA, communicate workflow issues, and maintain a safe, clean environment compliant with HSE and OSHA policies. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months’ experience preferred, ideally in medical or healthcare settings; basic math skills required. High-Value: encompasses blood donation procedures, apheresis process monitoring, compliance with safety and confidentiality standards, and potential cross-training. Work setup may involve direct patient interaction with possible bilingual requirements, depending on organizational needs.
