Role Summary

As a hands-on Creative Technologist within Lilly’s in-house agency, you will combine strong technical and creative expertise to design, pilot, and scale solutions that enable faster, smarter, and more consistent delivery of creative and digital content. You will partner across the in-house agency, Lilly Capabilities, and cross-functional teams to transform processes, improve quality, and ensure compliance within marketing workflows and the content supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Influence roadmaps: Collaborate across teams to construct technology roadmaps and milestones that accelerate the content supply chain.
  • Embed across the in-house agency: Learn workflows of creative, production, and digital teams; identify opportunities where technology can remove friction or unlock speed.
  • Support standardization: Contribute to playbooks, templates, and process documentation for consistency and efficiency.
  • Enable adoption: Build training resources, document best practices, and support teams in adopting new templates, tools, and capabilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Capabilities, Content Ops, Tech@Lilly, Lilly Bengaluru, Brands, and Modular Content teams to ensure alignment.
  • Drive value rapidly: Pilot use cases (Adobe and other tools), track outcomes, and scale successful initiatives across the in-house agency.
  • Assure compliance & quality: Apply regulatory and accessibility requirements when delivering creative tech solutions.
  • Provide feedback to improve tools: Surface pain points and blockers, feeding requirements to cross-functional partners to accelerate the Content Supply Chain.
  • Track & share success: Capture learnings, metrics, and case studies from pilots to influence future adoption.
  • Stay ahead of trends: Monitor external emerging technologies and tools to strengthen the content supply chain beyond current platforms.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Experience / Personal Skill Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years of experience driving creative design, production, personalization, and digital marketing
    • 3+ years of hands-on, technical expertise with using Adobe Creative Suite (Express, Illustrator, Photoshop, GenStudio, Firefly, etc)
    • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 3+ years experience driving creative technology strategies and influencing senior stakeholders across global teams
    • Exceptional communication and comfort presenting to senior leadership and large audiences
    • Ability to create tailored, end-user focused training materials for new ways of working
    • Experience in leading organizational change management
    • Experience managing creative workflows, asset management, personalization, and scaling content across markets
    • Foundational knowledge of creative configuration platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Figma, Canva)
    • Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, finance, government, or media) with strong process rigor and cross-functional review
    • History of leading centralized tech teams supporting multiple brands and channels
    • Curiosity and drive for continuous improvement; willingness to pursue ongoing certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Professional)
    • Ability to diagnose process vs. technology pain points and lead project planning and milestones
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills to translate insights into actionable strategies
    • Self-starter with ownership and effective self-management
    • Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
    • High learning agility and commitment to ongoing development

Additional Requirements

  • Position based in Indianapolis; remote work options may be considered. Travel up to 15% is expected.
