Cost Accounting Manager

Role: Senior Cost Accounting specialist with expertise in SAP S/4HANA supporting manufacturing and financial close activities in a biotech/pharma setting. Responsibilities: lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end cost activities, including inventory consolidation, process order settlement, manufacturing variance analysis, and overhead absorption; serve as SAP S/4HANA cost accounting SME; support standard cost processes, analyze variances, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reporting; ensure compliance with internal controls and audits. Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related; 5+ years in cost accounting within regulated manufacturing environments, with extensive SAP S/4HANA experience covering product costing, cost center accounting, and manufacturing cost flows; strong understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, overhead allocation, and variances; experience with Hyperion/EPM and financial reporting tools; solid knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and SAP process improvements. Preferred: CPA, MBA, or advanced degree; GMP manufacturing experience; familiarity with SAP Material Ledger and actual costing; advanced Excel and data visualization skills.
