Corporate Counsel, Global Commercial Legal

Role: Corporate Counsel, Global Commercial Legal supporting AbbVie's Immunology medicines, providing practical legal advice on compliance, regulatory issues, and business operations within a fast-paced, global environment. Responsibilities: advise on legal risks related to product launches, marketing, scientific exchange, regulatory submissions, and healthcare contracting; interpret U.S. laws including FDA regulations, False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, PhRMA Code, Sunshine Act, FCPA, and competition law; collaborate with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Legal teams; communicate legal concepts effectively; support projects, contracts, and investigations impacting commercial strategies. Requirements: J.D. from an accredited law school, admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state, with minimum 2 years of relevant legal experience in pharma, healthcare, or life sciences, either in-house, law firm, or government. Preferred: experience advising biopharma or healthcare industries, familiarity with pharmaceutical laws/regulations, strong legal writing and communication skills, business acumen, and interest in a global legal career.
