Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, evaluate, and execute a wide range of contract documents to ensure reasonableness/accuracy, appropriate timelines and deliverables, and alignment with risk parameters; identify and resolve clauses adverse to Arrowhead.
- Ensure accuracy of data for contracts within Arrowheadโ€™s contracting system.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters; collaborate with legal and business teams to mitigate exposure through revisions, standard clauses, and compliance checks.
- Prepare and edit contractual documents and correspondence, including amendments, termination notices, and other formal notices under agreement.
- Assist with other general legal matters, as appropriate.
- Balance big-picture concerns with day-to-day activities.

Requirements:
- 1+ years of contract management experience managing a large volume of contract work.
- Demonstrated expertise negotiating a wide range of contract types.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; keen eye for details and risk management.
- Strong analytical and critical/strategic thinking; project management skills to execute corporate goals.
- Experience coordinating with internal clients and cross-functional teams to deliver contract solutions.
- Outstanding organization and time management.
- Ability to manage multiple agreements and stakeholders in a fast-paced regulated environment.

Preferred:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business or biotechnology-related field, or paralegal certification (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
- Experience supporting a publicly traded organization.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., Agiloft).

Compensation/benefits:
- California pay range: $85,000 USD - $125,000 USD.
