Schedule:
- 2nd Shift (3:30pmβ12:00am), Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate compression machinery per company SOPs; ensure compliance with cGMP.
- Conduct in-process checks (e.g., average weight, thickness, hardness, friability, individual tablet weight).
- Initiate βBβ and βAβ level cleaning of compression rooms and follow IPQA procedures.
- Identify and segregate rejected blends/tablets; complete required quality checks; maintain cleanliness/organization.
- Notify the Supervisor of machine abnormalities or expired calibration status; keep weighing scales clean/orderly for calibration.
- Verify ingredients weighed in Mixing & Granulation against the Production Batch Record (PBR); report discrepancies; complete real-time documentation and review batch records for accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned; flexible to work extended hours when required.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED (preferred).
- Experience: 1+ year in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Intermediate English communication (read/write).
- High school math and mechanical skills (intermediate).
- Teamwork; attention to detail and accuracy (intermediate).
- Basic computer literacy (web browsers, typing, Microsoft Office, communication tools) (intermediate).
- High-speed compression machine setup (preferred).
- Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant respirator fit test (required).
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Hourly base salary: $17.50β$23.50.
