Compliance Counsel, Commercial & Healthcare Compliance

Role: Compliance Counsel supporting Neurocrine Biosciences' commercial functions, serving as a trusted legal advisor to ensure adherence to healthcare laws and industry standards. Responsibilities: provide practical guidance on HCP/HCO interactions, promotional activities, and compliance risks; conduct risk assessments and monitoring such as field rides and sponsorship reviews; stay current on healthcare regulations and translate them into actionable policies; support compliance training and governance initiatives; build stakeholder consensus and communicate complex legal issues clearly. Requirements: JD from an accredited law school, active license in the U.S., 6+ years of healthcare compliance or legal experience; strong knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech compliance, healthcare fraud and abuse law, FDA promotional regulations, transparency, and privacy; experience with compliance programs including risk assessment, training, investigations, and remediation; excellent legal analysis, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries; quick learner with strong business acumen.
