Competitive Intelligence Manager – Hybrid – Thousand Oaks, CA

Role: Develop and deliver competitive intelligence insights to support R&D decision-making at Amgen, focusing on pipeline assets across therapeutic areas like Oncology, Inflammation, and Rare Disease. Responsibilities: gather and synthesize data from secondary sources (clinicaltrials.gov, Cortellis, PubMed, patents, etc.), generate Key Intelligence Topics (KITs) and Questions (KIQs), analyze clinical trial and regulatory landscapes, and manage external vendors for hypothesis-driven research involving KOLs and investigators. Requirements: Doctorate or advanced degree with relevant experience (2+ years with Master's, 4+ with Bachelor's, etc.), expertise in scientific and competitive data analysis, and understanding of drug discovery, clinical trials, and regulatory processes. Preferred: strong communication, experience supporting pipeline assessments, familiarity with global markets, and knowledge of pharmaceutical forecasting models.
