Companion Animal Professional Services Veterinarian (Tri-State)

Responsibilities:
- Support territory managers as part of the Regional Leadership Team by conveying value/benefits of the Animal Health portfolio.
- Prepare and deliver technical lectures to key customers, strategic accounts, and veterinary organizations.
- Offer solutions aligned to customer needs and business priorities.
- Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute business strategy to meet/exceed regional and organizational goals.
- Meet key opinion leaders in clinical and university settings to discuss the portfolio and new opportunities.
- Represent the portfolio at veterinary schools, associations, and conferences.
- Serve as regional technical expert; assess technical training needs and coach sales reps in technical selling.
- Collaborate with R&D, Learning & Development, Marketing, Veterinary Insights/Medical Affairs, and Sales.
Qualifications:
- Education: DVM/VMD degree.
- Experience: 10 years combinedโminimum 5 years clinical companion animal practice and minimum 5 years animal health industry (or equivalent leadership/management).
Required skills/abilities:
- Communicate complex topics clearly; excellent presentation/facilitation and oral/written communication.
- Medical consultant expertise in vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics.
- Influence without direct authority; build internal/industry networks; bring innovative solutions.
- MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); industry software (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, Power BI).
- Work effectively with cross-functional internal/external teams; independently execute core Professional Services Veterinarian responsibilities.
Preferred:
- Experience with companion animal vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics.
- Advanced degrees/research; training delivery in structured organizations; leadership/management experience.
