Role Summary

Community Relations and Education Manager - LA, MS, AR, Memphis TN. Remote/Field role focusing on engaging Hemophilia Chapters and Foundations to deliver educational platforms and inform branded and unbranded strategies. Collaborates with field and home office teams to place education in Chapter platforms and drive compliant programs.

Responsibilities

  • Chapter Engagement and Advocacy Development: Align with cross-functional colleagues to orchestrate resources with Hemophilia Chapters and Foundations; identify and cultivate relationships with Executive Directors and staff; assist in Hemophilia Chapter Service agreements; engage in on-label conversations; execute on-label programming; collaborate with field and patient support teams; serve as point of contact to resolve Chapter and Community issues; execute customer-centric, needs-based Chapter engagements; plan and execute Chapter engagements at conferences and events.
  • Market Insights: Capture feedback from the community and Chapters; obtain feedback on brand-related strategies/materials (all materials approved by legal/compliance/regulatory); participate in cross-functional brand teams for strategy and execution; provide competitive intelligence; facilitate regional and national educational program planning and execution.
  • Hemophilia Community Education and Engagement: Plan and execute regional and national speaking engagements; conduct presentations translating complex clinical information; collaborate with commercial and PSS stakeholders for integrated strategy implementation; manage territory Specialty Pharmacy relationships and educational programming; assist content creation and updates; educate patients and caregivers on branded and unbranded topics; use CRM to manage region and HCP/patient activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five years pharma/biotech industry experience
  • Excellent presentation and platform skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects; ability to meet tight timelines
  • Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs; valid driver’s license; reside within geographic area or reasonable distance
  • 60-80% travel anticipated

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Experience in Hemophilia
  • Product launch experience
  • Specialty Pharmacy experience
  • Bilingual/Spanish highly desirable
