General Summary:
Commercial Supply Chain Manager supporting commercial supply chain execution for a late-stage small molecule program, including monthly supply planning, S&OP, planning system setup, inventory management, Long Range Plans (LRP), and cross-functional coordination.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver monthly end-to-end Supply and Inventory build plans (Kinaxis Maestro/Rapid Response) considering supplier capacity, demand uncertainty, and risk management.
- Perform scenario planning (supply projections; 5+ year forecast/supply assessments) and inventory planning for life cycle management.
- Support implementation, testing, and improvement of planning/execution systems; serve as Planning super user for Kinaxis Maestro/Rapid Response.
- Support S&OP to enable material/capacity investments and network expansion; assess small molecule network risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Drive initiatives such as safety stock implementation, operational readiness monitoring, capacity analysis, and systems integration.
- Create/maintain master data (lead times, pricing, approved vendor lists) and review for policy alignment.
- Manage supply chain KPIs, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and drive end-to-end operational excellence.
- Represent Supply Chain on project sub-teams/task forces; partner with External Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Commercial, and others.
- Champion quality culture and ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Knowledge & Skills:
- 5+ years pharma supply chain planning; Kinaxis Maestro/Rapid Response experience.
- Experience in complex global supply chain networks.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving; ability to innovate compliant solutions.
- Understanding of small molecule supply chain regulations; excellent communication and collaboration.
- Anticipate scenarios; provide contingency plans.
- Oracle E-Business Suite (OPM) or SAP experience.
Education:
- Bachelorβs degree in a scientific or business discipline.
