Territory: Field-based position covering the Fresno area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to educate HCP customers and staff; prioritize customer engagements; conduct account management (where applicable); perform business assessment/analysis; manage resource utilization and impact.
- Educate cardiologists and rheumatologists and other decision makers to initiate Kiniksa’s approved product for recurrent pericarditis.
- Provide comprehensive education on Kiniksa One Connect Patient Services and the support program.
- Facilitate short- and long-term opportunities via virtual/in-person interactions, one-on-ones, small groups, peer-to-peer programs, and presentations.
- Achieve quarterly and annual commercial goals and meet/exceed sales performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Kiniksa field sales partner teams.
- Serve as an external representative for HCP stakeholders; be a reliable, trusted source of company/product information.
- Act with integrity and in compliance with governing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain expenses within assigned budget parameters; document field activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of biopharmaceutical sales experience; rare disease/specialty/cardiology experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience promoting injectable or reconstitution injectable products preferred.
- Track record of sales success; highly motivated.
- Strategic account management experience.
- Experience with Specialty Pharmacy, HUB services, and Patient Support programs.
- Working knowledge of compliant and ethical business practices.
- Ability to collaborate consistently; manage multiple workstreams.
- Travel 75%–80% (primarily within territory) and valid driver’s license.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Base pay range: $180,000–$200,000 USD.
- Sales Incentive plan (in addition to base pay).
