Role Summary
Clinical Sales Specialist – Bay Hill, FL. Responsible for implementing sales strategies for approved products within an assigned territory, aligning with compliance standards and applicable legal requirements to engage targeted health care providers and hospital systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop professional relationships with influential high prescribers and thought leaders in the territory to enhance brand and product loyalty
- Utilize knowledge of the therapeutic disease state, marketplace, competitors, industry, and cross-functional plans to anticipate and manage opportunities and challenges
- Develop and implement customer-specific territory plans and communicate insights to internal stakeholders
- Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential
- Plan and participate in education programs and speaker dinner programs
- Manage territory expenses/budget to support sales and marketing activities
Qualifications
- Required: BA/BS or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years sales experience required; recent endocrine relationships, specialty therapeutic, hospital, or orphan drugs sales experience highly preferred
- Preferred: Proven track record of consistent high performance
- Preferred: Strong ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally
