Clinical Oncology Specialist, Head & Neck

Role: Field-based Clinical Oncology Specialist supporting Natera's Head & Neck Oncology histology team to promote Signatera, a personalized MRD ctDNA assay, within the Keystone region (SE Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware). Objectives include driving adoption among clinicians, building strategic relationships, and expanding access to Natera's diagnostics. Responsibilities encompass developing clinical expertise, engaging KOLs and healthcare providers through consultative discussions, executing territory growth plans, and achieving sales targets. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of successful medical sales experience, preferably in Head & Neck Oncology, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine. Knowledge of oncology landscape, reimbursement, and experience with oncologists or multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Radiation Oncologists, ENT, Surgeons, Medical Oncologists) is preferred. Skills include strong communication, relationship-building, strategic planning, and the ability to influence healthcare professionals. The role demands frequent travel and collaboration with cross-functional teams. High-value specifics: focus on molecular residual disease (MRD), ctDNA, cancer monitoring, precision oncology, and healthcare reimbursement. Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped commissions ($195,000–$225,000 OTE) with benefits such as a car allowance, RSUs, health coverage, 401(k), and stock plans.
