Role: Clinical Oncology Specialist (COS) focusing on Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers within Natera's oncology portfolio, primarily Signatera tests for CRC, pancreatic, esophageal, gastric, and hepatobiliary cancers. Responsibilities include establishing a clinical presence in academic and community oncology settings, engaging various GI specialists, and integrating Natera's testing into multidisciplinary care pathways. The role involves executing targeted clinical strategies, educating providers, and collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to drive test adoption and volume growth. The COS must maintain deep expertise in molecular diagnostics, liquid biopsy, MRD, and personalized medicine in GI oncology, with a strong understanding of local market dynamics and reimbursement landscapes. Account management, workflow optimization, and ensuring ethical, compliant interactions are key duties. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with ≥5 years in oncology or molecular diagnostics (or ≥7 years with an Associate degree), with preferred experience in GI oncology, molecular testing, or related fields. Strong clinical acumen, relationship-building, and communication skills are essential, along with a valid driver’s license. The role requires frequent travel (50-75%) across the Midwest region, including on-site visits in hospitals and clinics. Compensation ranges from $195,000 to $225,000, supplemented by uncapped commissions, car allowance, stock options, and benefits. The position is remote within the USA, supporting Natera’s leadership in cfDNA testing for oncology, women’s health, and organ health.
