Clinical Laboratory Technologist - STAT Labgton, DC

Role: Laboratory Technologist supporting clinical testing in a high-volume setting, primarily performing routine and complex specimen analyses, troubleshooting instrumentation, and ensuring quality control. Responsibilities: assess specimen acceptability, operate and maintain lab equipment, prepare reagents, report accurate test results, and assist with specimen processing. Requirements: Bachelor's in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; 1+ year of lab experience or MLS certification; proficiency with lab info systems, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams. Preferred: 3+ months of additional testing experience, certification (ASCP or AMT).
