Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex diagnostic tests, ensuring specimen quality, and operating instrumentation per SOPs. Objectives include delivering accurate, timely test results to support patient care. Responsibilities: validate specimen acceptability, troubleshoot equipment, prepare reagents, perform quality control, and assist with specimen processing while maintaining a safe work environment. Requirements: Bachelor's in Chemical/Biological sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, with at least 1 year of clinical testing experience or an MLS degree. Preferred: 3+ months of lab experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-value: clinical diagnostics, high-volume lab environment, standard GxP practices, proficiency with lab information systems, and flexibility for shift work. Collaboration: work independently and within a team. Work setup: onsite in City, ST with a Tuesday-Saturday 7:00 am-3:30 pm schedule; potential OT based on needs.
