Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology

Role: Microbiology Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex testing procedures in a clinical laboratory setting, ensuring quality and accuracy of patient results. Responsibilities: accept specimens per criteria, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation (e.g., MALDI-TOF, VITEK2), prepare reagents, maintain documentation, and support specimen processing. Requirements: Bachelor's in a Chemical or Biological science, Medical Technology, or MLS with 1+ years of lab experience; preferred certifications include ASCP or AMT. High-Value: microbiology testing, clinical lab environment, high-volume workflow, knowledge of microbiology equipment, and CLIA standards. Work Setup: Night shift (Wednesday-Sunday, 9:00 pm - 5:30 am), onsite in Raritan, NJ; flexibility for overtime and shift adjustments.
