Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Cytogenetics

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex testing procedures in a clinical laboratory setting to ensure high-quality patient results. Responsibilities include specimen evaluation, instrument operation and troubleshooting, reagent testing, quality control, preventative maintenance, and supporting specimen processing. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, with at least 1 year of clinical testing experience or an MLS degree. Preferred: 3+ months of additional testing experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: Clinical laboratory environment, testing in a high-volume setting, proficiency with lab information systems, understanding of laboratory policies and procedures, attention to detail, and physical capability to handle the job. Work Setup: Second shift (Tuesday-Saturday, 1:00pm-9:30pm) in Durham, NC, with flexibility for overtime or shift changes.
