Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Core Chemistry

Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist responsible for specimen testing, instrumentation operation, quality control, and troubleshooting in a high-volume laboratory setting. Responsibilities include specimen assessment, performing routine and complex tests per SOPs, preparing reagents, reporting accurate results, and maintaining equipment and safety standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; at least 1 year of clinical testing experience or MLS certification. Preferred: 3+ months of lab experience, ASCP or AMT certification, proficiency with laboratory information systems, and high attention to detail. Work setup: Night shift in Birmingham, AL; flexible to overtime or shifts as needed, physical and color vision acuity required.
