Clinical Laboratory Technician - Microbiology

Role: Clinical Laboratory Professional at Labcorp, responsible for performing routine and complex testing procedures, monitoring instrumentation, and ensuring quality and accurate patient results. Responsibilities include specimen evaluation, reagent testing, troubleshooting equipment, executing quality control, and maintaining a safe workspace. Requirements: Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Medical Technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science; proficiency with lab information systems and computers; ability to work independently and in teams; attention to detail; passing a color blindness test. Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification and at least 1 year of clinical testing experience. High-Value: high-volume clinical lab environment, performing vital diagnostic tests with an emphasis on quality control, safety, and precision. Work setup: weekday shifts, rotating weekends, in Waco, TX; overtime and flexible shifts may be required.
