Clinical Laboratory Technician – Chemistry

Role: Laboratory Technician responsible for specimen testing, technical procedures, instrument troubleshooting, and quality control in a clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities: evaluate specimen acceptability, perform routine and complex tests per SOPs, monitor and maintain instrumentation, prepare reagents, report accurate results, document maintenance, replenish supplies, and assist with specimen processing. Requirements: Associate’s degree in Chemical or Biological sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; 3+ months of microbiology testing experience preferred; ASCP or AMT certification preferred. High-Value: microbiology testing, clinical laboratory environment, high-volume operational setting, proficiency with laboratory information systems. WorkSetup: onsite in Holyoke, MA, with schedule Sunday-Thursday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm; flexibility for overtime or shift changes.
