Position Summary:
The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) calls on prescribers for Filspari, a first-in-class treatment for rare kidney disease. The CAM positions the company as a leader in Nephrology and maximizes sales in their territory, partnering with customers to support diagnosis and management of patients with these rare conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all business-related activities in the assigned geographic responsibility, including achieving sales goals, business planning, and expense control.
- Call on Health Care Professionals (HCPs) specializing in Nephrology at targeted institutions and offices.
- Educate providers managing patients with rare kidney disease on the benefits of using Travere therapies.
- Compliantly support patient access steps, including proper testing procedures, site-of-care determination, and reimbursement process education.
- Provide educational support to an underserved patient community.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required (life sciences or clinical background preferred); equivalent education/experience may be considered.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
- 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized, high-value products.
Additional Skills/Experience (Required/Preferred):
- Track record of sales success with documented accomplishments/awards.
- Preferred: rare disease experience, academic institution experience, start-up experience, Nephrology experience, specialty pharmacy distribution experience.
- Skills: sales data planning/analysis/interpretation; proficiency with Sales Force Automation and basic business software; strong organization, multitasking, collaboration, attention to detail, and verbal/written communication.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle; background check incl. Motor Vehicle Record; travel up to 30% (domestic, overnight).
- Field-based; live in territory or immediate adjacency; perform face-to-face work and meet credentialing requirements for access to healthcare facilities.

Compensation:
- Target base pay range: $162,000.00 - $211,000.00 (plus incentives).
