Client Services Specialist (Key Cell and Gene Therapy Accounts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a team to support and meet assigned territory goals.
- Proactively plan for customer needs by collecting and reviewing forecasts; take ownership of requests through completion by collaborating with Field Sales, Customer Service, Technical Service, Product Management, and Operations.
- Lead operational alignment calls with key accounts; participate in steering team meetings, business reviews, and other customer-facing activities.
- Prepare sales quotes for bulk, GMP, Cell and Gene Therapy reagents, custom orders, and other high-value opportunities.
- Maintain lasting customer relationships through knowledgeable communication and proactive issue resolution; partner with regional sales teams across Bio-Techne divisions.
- Manage all aspects of the order cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle complex situations that may impact company image, sales, and costs.
- Triage and efficiently respond or route inbound key-customer inquiries.
- Document communications using CRM and relevant systems.
- Establish and adhere to high ethical and performance standards.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in a related field or equivalent experience; up to 2 years relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of Bio-Techne reagents/consumables for CGT/regenerative medicine workflows; understanding of competitors and the marketplace.
- Passion for products/company and empathy for customer needs; ability to synthesize information into opportunities and strategies.
- Collaborative team-selling skills.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, decisiveness, and confidence to make decisions.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with many stakeholders.
- Strong planning, organization, problem-solving, and multitasking.
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com; ability to learn ERP/database solutions (Microsoft AX).
- Ability to handle sensitive/proprietary information confidentially.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking, including evaluating alternatives.
