Role: Classification Specialist supporting global trade compliance within a biopharma context, focusing on product classification accuracy for chemicals, biologics, drugs, and lab supplies. Responsibilities: classify items with HTS, ECN/ECCN, and Controlled Substance schedules; manage classifications in trade management systems (SAP GTS, One Source); research complex rulings and court decisions; provide guidance on tariff provisions; support trade compliance audits and standards development. Requirements: bachelor's degree, scientific background preferred; 2+ years of experience; proficiency with trade systems; knowledge of chemical/biological product attributes and tariff classification; strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
