Role Summary
CD&A - Commercial Analytics Senior Manager, Bone Health. Lead insights generation by integrating multiple secondary data sources and collaborating with Commercial Data and Analytics colleagues to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Bone Health market and provide tactical recommendations. Ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to Senior Leadership is essential. Flexible commuter role to Thousand Oaks, CA; on-site a minimum of 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Develop positive relationships while working cross functionally with marketing, finance, the broader CD&A team, and other partners to develop and communicate assumptions based on secondary data analysis and partner input
- Provide senior leadership with an objective and rigorous perspective on secondary data analytics and performance management
- Lead the production and interpretation of data for standard reports (e.g., weekly important metric dashboard, monthly tracking, etc.)
- With limited supervision, provide analytical support to the cross-functional team supporting Bone Health
- Prepare, interpret and present analyses on specific business objectives and in preparation for ad hoc “investigative” requests
- Ensure applicable legal and regulatory compliance SOPs are understood by and adhered to by yourself, vendors, and product teams
- Be a great partner with external vendors and consultants to enable effective and efficient project completion
- Demonstrate ownership of relevant Bone Health data sets, encouraging confidence in the data through a clear understanding of data collection methods, business rules and caveats
- Improve the capabilities of the Commercial Insights team by researching and implementing new analytical tools, methodologies, internal and external best practices, new data sources, etc.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 2 years of analytics experience OR Master’s degree and 4 years of analytics experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of analytics experience OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of analytics experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of analytics experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong ability and hands-on experience to uncover and transform insights to commercial actions by analyzing, synthesizing, and integrating various secondary data; well-versed in data, analytics, research, and/or dashboarding and reporting; diverse analytics/consultative skillsets across disciplines and therapeutic areas; ability to identify and define business problems and address through data, analytics, and research; strong analysis and project management skills; experience in managing leadership stakeholders and competing priorities; ability to drive implementation to enhance methodologies and standard processes; ability to direct and prioritize team supports and resources; proficient facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills; strong oral and written presentation skills; demonstrated cross-functional collaboration to shape brand strategy and understand risks and opportunities
Education
- Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or High School Diploma with corresponding analytics experience as listed above

- On-site presence in Thousand Oaks, CA required a minimum of 3 days per week
