What You Will Do
- Provide day-to-day oversight of patient customer service issues related to insurance, specialty pharmacy, and patient support programs.
- Coordinate daily communication with Regional Business Managers (RBMs), Patient Access Liaisons (PALs), and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) on insurance approvals/reauthorizations.
- Case manage steps required for patients to gain access to therapy (with RBMs, PALs, hub, pharmacy, and patient/family).
- Partner with Safety/Pharmacovigilance to report Adverse Events (AEs) and product complaints.
- Maintain case histories and update patient status to track reimbursement and shipping for U.S. patients.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve reimbursement issues (PAs, denials, appeals, reauthorizations, overrides, billing problems).
- Liaise with medical offices to obtain insurance authorizations; counsel patients/families on insurance and reimbursement options.
- Identify adherence trends; report weekly patient status, adjudication status, reimbursement trends, and roadblocks.
- Manage/track/report Open Enrollment efforts annually.
- Advise on insurance, financial assistance, and therapeutic access programs; attend patient and industry/sales meetings.

What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s + 2 years case management OR Associate’s + 6 years case management OR High school/GED + 8 years case management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s strongly preferred; 5+ years pharmaceutical industry; 2+ years prior case manager experience.
- Excellent customer service/communication; resolve hurdles across multiple cases.
- Learn product/disease info; familiarity with HIPAA and FDA.
- Manage communications across geographies/time zones; Excel and PowerPoint; up to 20% travel.
