Role Responsibilities:
- Drives sales in assigned territory.
- Engages with customers face to face and virtually.
- Develops and implements business and territory call plans; identifies and executes live/virtual engagement strategies.
- Builds rapport/relationships in-person and virtually using digital tools to maintain engagement.
- Uses internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Applies product and disease-state knowledge to educate providers on appropriate unbranded/branded value propositions and uses approved disease-state information/patient resources.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to address customer inquiries and advance company objectives.
- Completes administrative expectations on time and compliantly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience OR associate’s degree with 6+ years OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years.
- Experience in professional sales/promotional activity OR small business owner/entrepreneurial/marketing/customer service/account management OR relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT) OR educator OR full-time military experience.
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales or medical marketing.
- Track record of sales/marketing success; territory management; strong communication, teamwork, leadership, accountability.
- Experience with relevant disease states/therapeutic area/products; knowledge of territory customers/markets; reside within territory boundaries.
Benefits/Compensation:
- Annual base salary: $76,000–$199,600.
- Initial training: salary non-exempt (overtime eligible); after certification: overtime exempt.
- Quarterly Sales Incentive bonus.
- 401(k) with matching + additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/dental/vision.
