As a Cardiovascular Disease Specialist, drive meaningful patient impact by serving as the primary contact for customers within your assigned territory and collaborating with Account Executives and Integrated Delivery Systems leaders to deliver patient-focused solutions.
Territory Assignment: Field-based sales covering the Bakersfield, CA territory (overnight travel may be required about 25%).
Position Overview:
- Develop and manage relationships with health care customers, engaging with physicians’ offices, integrated delivery systems, pharmacies, and hospital clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with company policies, standards, and ethics.
- Maintain current product knowledge and certifications.
- Conduct balanced, compliant product sales discussions aligned with product labeling.
- Provide key insights using approved promotional materials.
- Provide management updates on customer needs, patient outcomes, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.
- Monitor business performance against objectives using company tools.
Minimum Requirements:
- S1: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or HS diploma/equivalent with 0–3 years relevant experience.
- S2: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or HS diploma/equivalent with 3+ years sales experience or at least 6 years relevant experience.
- Analyze complex data to develop strategic sales plans.
- Comfortable using digital tools/platforms to engage healthcare professionals.
- Adaptable to changing market conditions.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills; works independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reside in Bakersfield, CA within 50 miles.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Background in sales/account management/consultative roles/customer service.
- Experience analyzing metrics; minimum 3 years relevant sales experience.
- Experience launching products in competitive markets.
- Ability to simplify complex information.
- Proficient in advanced analytics; comfortable with multi-channel tools.
- Proactive learning and agile growth mindset.
Benefits/Compensation:
- Eligible for Sales Incentive Plan and company car.
Salary Range:
- S1: $79,200.00–$124,700.00; S2: $106,200.00–$167,200.00.
