Cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison (Mid-Atlantic)

Role: Cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison (MSL) responsible for scientific engagement with healthcare professionals to support clinical development and product launch in RNAi-based therapeutics. Responsibilities: develop relationships with cardiologists/endocrinologists, educate on RNAi technology, hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia; communicate scientific insights internally; support clinical trials, speaker training, and congress activities; monitor scientific literature and competitive landscape; provide medical information support; develop educational content; manage territory-specific plans; and collaborate cross-functionally. Requirements: PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO; 5+ years as an MSL with cardiometabolic expertise; biotech/pharma industry experience in Medical Affairs; excellent communication skills; strong scientific understanding of cardiometabolic diseases; ability to interpret clinical data and identify unmet needs; knowledge of healthcare delivery; project management skills; and ability to travel.
