Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed established sales budgets with accountability for territory results.
- Drive appropriate utilization of approved products with Heart Failure (HF) specialists and other healthcare professionals within assigned accounts.
- Apply knowledge of heart failure and the marketplace to manage business opportunities and challenges.
- Provide field-based input to the Regional Sales Director and commercial/medical colleagues for strategic and tactical planning.
- Prepare, maintain, present, and implement strategic customer and institutional-specific territory plans.
- Execute marketing/sales initiatives to achieve business objectives for assigned accounts.
- Operate within defined territory expense budgets; manage resources to achieve territory objectives.
- Conduct speakers programs (except where prohibited).
- Lead delivery of outstanding customer experience, satisfaction, and retention.
- Build deep understanding of account needs, stakeholders, and competitive situations.
- Use sales reports to identify territory potential and key HF stakeholders.
- Complete administrative responsibilities (healthcare compliance, expense reports, call reporting in Veeva CRM, and other assignments by deadlines).
- Provide input to support ongoing sales market development.

Qualifications/Required Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree (accredited 4-year college/university).
- 5+ years of healthcare sales experience (pharma specialty, hospital, or medical device/diagnostic/in-kind); cardiovascular category experience preferred.
- 1+ year institutional sales experience preferred; IDN experience a plus.
- Top 30% high achievement ranking in 2 of last 5 years.
- Product launch experience; Medicare population experience a plus.
- Strong written/verbal communication; polished meeting presenter.
- Experience working a large geography; travel overnight as needed.
- Experience with HUB and specialty pharmacies.
- Medicare coverage determination facilitation or extensive prior authorization experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Maintain satisfactory driving record per company policy.

Pay Range:
- $120,000 - $140,000 per year.
