Responsibilities:
- Manage deployment of AI products and solutions; work with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify, select, and advise on AI technologies.
- Work with business unit clients to understand processes, drivers, and strategy across multiple business units; identify opportunities for technology-enabled process improvement.
- Investigate existing systems and technologies; evaluate industry solutions; develop integrated information management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies; evaluate alternative technology solutions using information systems methodologies and best practices.
- Proactively seek strategic technology opportunities with business executives; provide strategic analyses and insights.
- Develop/lead/review information systems strategy for multiple business areas; identify business benefits; ensure alignment between business and technology directions; may prepare testing plans and conduct training.
- Recommend approaches for process improvement (e.g., outsourcing, application development, BPM).
- Build relationships with BTOs; coordinate solution portfolio and interdependencies; manage communication and project status.
- Identify impacts of relevant internal/external regulations.
- Hold defined authority and responsibility (technical/financial/quality); set objectives and delegate; accountable for decisions.
- Ensure proposed improvements/technical solutions fit business needs; communicate business needs and drivers to development groups.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelorโs (7 years), Masterโs (6 years), or PhD (2 years).
- Business Analyst (or similar) experience in a technical environment or product management.
- Leadership/team management experience (cross-functional).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Track record launching successful software products.
- Knowledge of software development best practices.
- Agile proficiency (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Strong organization and time management.
Preferred:
- 3+ years Business Analyst (or similar).
- Understanding of Large Language Models, Generative AI, and traditional AI (selection/fit).
- Life Sciences industry experience.
- Experience with GxP validated systems.
