Purpose
- Accountable to achieve sales goals in the assigned territory by driving adoption of 2D/4D intracardiac echocardiography in structural heart procedures and growing market share and other key metrics.
- Develop the structural heart imaging market by identifying new procedural opportunities, expanding ICE adoption into new IC programs, and transitioning from TEE-dependent workflows to ICE-guided procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital/Cath lab staff, and key opinion leaders.
- Manage customer groups across large hospital systems/IDNs and teaching/community hospitals; influence clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to support BWI ultrasound products.
- Lead strategic sales plans, customer relationship building, and operational excellence; serve as territory quarterback and indirectly lead a pod team with UCASs, partnering with RBDs.
Functional Responsibilities
- Partner with doctors and Cath lab administrators on equipment evaluations and timely issue resolution.
- Develop and execute selling strategies and strategic sales plans; own territory strategy (account prioritization, procedural targeting, ICE adoption roadmaps).
- Create tactical/operational plans and coordinate UCAS pod activity to drive utilization; maintain communication and best practices.
- Provide product/procedural expertise; capture and communicate customer insights to internal teams.
- Leverage cross-functional business partners; communicate business issues/opportunities to management.
- Identify/resolve case issues with TMs/UCASs/RBDs; ensure HSE and regulatory compliance; complete admin tasks and training.
- Stay current on emerging technology/techniques and new product launches; facilitate customer adoption.
Qualifications
- BA/BS plus 7+ years professional experience.
- 5+ years sales experience in cardiovascular/vascular/interventional cardiology devices; cardiac imaging structural heart products/therapies (ICE, TAVI, LAAO, M/T TEER, TTVR, PFO, ASD) preferred.
- Documented sales awards/achievements preferred; prior management experience and capital selling experience preferred.
- Relationships with interventional cardiologists; strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Matrixed organization experience and knowledge of healthcare regulations/compliance.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to establish flexible schedule; complete company training.
- Valid driverβs license; advanced computer skills; field-based driving/walking and use of phone/computer.
- Travel up to 80%; occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
