Building Management System Engineer

The Position
Maintain & improve reliability of the BMS system to meet current & projected customer, business & regulatory requirements through:
- People focus
- Equipment focus
- Standards gatekeeping

Relationships
- Reports to Manager, Facilities Engineering.

Essential Functions
- Develop & execute plans to maintain & improve BMS system
- Develop IA project ideas & prepare PPM submittals
- Schedule & execute plans in coordination with operations schedules
- Support IA projects & process improvement plans
- Develop & maintain system documents, including specifications & maintenance plans
- Coach & train Facility Engineers & Facility Maintenance Technicians
- Employ cLEAN tools within problem solving, project & change management
- Coach & train users of the BMS

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 5 years engineering and strong HVAC/utilities troubleshooting experience in pharmaceutical or bio-tech manufacturing (aseptic processing preferred)
- Knowledgeable in Siemens BMS (Insight) and Siemens Historian – InfoCenter; proficient in MS Office (SAP preferred)
- Proven project management expertise in planning/organization, project execution, follow-up & completion (preferred)
- Customer/results driven; understands customer requirements and prioritizes work (plus)
