AWS Cloud Application Engineer (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:
- Investigate, identify, and implement state-of-the-art technology platforms that drive productivity and efficiency gains.
- Design and operate large-scale cloud services (AWS), including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Apply critical thinking to quickly understand existing systems and work in agile environments.
- Build cloud-native services using REST APIs, microservices-based architectures, and containerized technologies.
- Design and build high-scale distributed systems with fault-tolerant architecture.
- Develop Agile and test-driven development methodologies.
- Develop the software development lifecycle, including Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and regional cloud deployments.
- Understand and adhere to corporate standards, including GxP compliance, data security, and software development lifecycle policies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ experience; Master’s degree with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 2 years’ experience in Information Technology.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience developing applications on AWS cloud.
- Proven ability to implement creative technology solutions that advance the business.
- Experience with Java, Python, or other modern programming languages.
- Passion to learn new software technologies.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
