Operations
The Position
Assist in the operation, maintenance, and system management of process control systems. Collaborate with the Manager to ensure processes are in place and people are trained to meet system uptime requirements. Support strategic goals/objectives and drive process improvements.
Essential Functions
- Troubleshoot during process downtime; inspect, troubleshoot, and repair control system hardware
- Perform routine/preventative/predictive maintenance; assist in developing maintenance procedures
- Support control system equipment installations and hardware inventory management
- Support plans to maintain/improve process control systems; schedule/e xecute in coordination with production schedules
- Coordinate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors; implement improvements
- Develop/own plans for maintaining/improving systems; understand site process control systems
- Adhere to automation/IT standards and maintain training readiness; coach/train others and develop training materials
- Use cLEAN tools; implement process improvements with minimal guidance
- Follow Quality Mindset (risk management/mitigation), Change Management, CGMPs, and safety/environmental requirements

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (Electronics/Computers/Engineering/relevant) + 8 years automated/process control
- Or HS/GED + 12 years
- Proficiency maintaining process control systems; flexible shifts/overtime
- Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
- Troubleshooting automated/IT issues (interfaces/hardware)
- PLC (Rockwell/Siemens), HMI, PCS/DCS (DeltaV/iFix), Historian (OSI PI/iBatch), SCADA, MES (Syncade/PAS-X), MS SQL; PLC programming troubleshooting
- Communication, cross-functional agility, disciplined decision-making, accountability
Physical/Work
- Lift/move up to 33 lbs; stand up to 12 hours; ladder/elevated work/possible confined spaces; may require PPE/working around hazardous materials.
