The Position
Responsibilities:
- Assist in operation, maintenance, and system management of process control systems.
- Collaborate with Manager to ensure processes are in place and people are trained to meet system uptime requirements.
- Support troubleshooting during process downtime; inspect, troubleshoot, and repair control system hardware.
- Perform routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance; assist in developing maintenance procedures.
- Support control system equipment installations and manage control system hardware inventory.
- Support plans to maintain and improve process control systems; schedule/execute plans with production schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to clarify technical needs and implement improvements.
- Adhere to automation/IT standards, Change Management standards, CGMPs, and safety/environmental requirements.
- Coach/train colleagues/stakeholders and develop training material as needed; use cLEAN tools to solve problems/improve processes.

Qualifications:
- Associateβs degree (Electronics/Computers/Engineering or related) + 8+ years automated/process control system experience (required), or HS/GED + 12+ years (required).
- Proficient maintaining process control systems; flexible for overtime/shifts.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
- Troubleshooting automated/IT issues (interfaces + hardware) required.
- One or more of: PLC (Rockwell/Siemens), HMI, PCS/DCS (DeltaV/iFix), Historian (OSI PI/iBatch), SCADA, MES (Syncade/PAS-X), MS SQL required.
- PLC programming troubleshooting required; strong oral/written communication.
- Preferred: pharmaceutical/biotech/food/cosmetic/beverage industry experience.
- Able to work cross-functionally; disciplined decision-making; accountability.
