Responsibilities
- Ensure automated equipment performance in Device Assembly and Packaging.
- Provide first-line support to production processes.
- Support area engineering initiatives, process improvements, and project implementation.
- Develop expertise in production processes, commissioning, qualification, and validation requirements, plus equipment-specific code/control system technologies.
- Help ensure equipment is maintained in a qualified state, operated safely, and properly maintained (maintenance activities are not in the scope of this position).

Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Ensure operational/maintenance procedures reflect safety concerns.
- Perform activities in accordance with cGMPs and applicable procedures.
- Improve quality using equipment performance data and ensure appropriate maintenance.
- Communicate across levels to plan/coordinate projects and repairs with minimal disruption.
- With the process team, participate in (and sometimes lead) development of equipment design, procedures, engineering studies, and maintenance practices.
- Improve equipment operational effectiveness and reliability.
- Provide technical support to engineering, including: investigating/resolving issues causing production delays; transferring equipment capability/operational knowledge; implementing tools for operations/engineering; contractor/vendor coordination; creating maintenance action plans; participating in periodic equipment-state reviews; planning/executing small improvement/change projects.

Minimum Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship anticipated.
- High school degree or GED.

Additional Preferences
- Safe work behavior in a participative environment.
- GMP manufacturing environment experience.
- Instrumentation and PLC/HMI programming; Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View SE experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to write technical documents.
- Independent work, strong organization, attention to detail, adaptability.
- Interpersonal skills and customer-service attitude.
- Support HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
- Experience with highly automated equipment.
- B&R platform experience (plus).
- Knowledge of parenteral equipment and manufacturing operations.
- Experience with Maximo or similar computerized maintenance management systems.
